Election 2018: One added to Latest List of Adair County Candidates 4 Jan 2017

Candidates for local offices in Adair County who wish to do so may file today, Friday, January 5, 2018, from 8amCT until 4pmCT, in the office of Adair Clerk Lisa Greer, Ste 3, Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY

There's a new face in the race for the Adair County Fourth District seat of retiring Magistrate Perry Reeder.

Ray Fluhr, filed yesterday, Thursday, January 4, 2018, seeking the Republican nomination for the postition, subject to the Tuesday, May 22, 2018.




Fluhr, is now one of four seeking the nomination. Others are: Sandra J. Kerns, Chris Pennington, and Chris Janes. All are Republicans. No Democrat has been elected Magistrate in the Fourth - Gradyville-Nell, Sparksville-Breeding, South Columbia #2 precincts - since Democrat J.M. Shelley held the office for one term, from 2003-2006.

The deadline for filing for multi-county and statewide offices which require a primary is January 30, 2018.
