Edith Richards, 67, of Russell Springs, KY, died Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY.

Funeral service for Edith Richards will be 10amCT, Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. David Coffey officiating. Visitation 6pm-8pmCT, Tuesday and after 8amCT, Wednesday. Interment in the Tarter Cemetery on Hwy 76, Russell Springs, KY.

Edith was born January 15, 1950 in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Earl & Ruth Shepherd Burton. She died Friday, December 29, 2017, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 67 years, 11 months, and 14 days. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Separate Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother: Charles Shepherd.

Survivors are the following:
  • Daughter: Sherry Lynn Beatty, Russell Springs, KY

  • Granddaughter: Nolyn Beatty, Russell Springs, KY
