She was an accomplished organist and a retired school bus driver and teacher's aide, with an ever encouraging, heart-warming smile. She was a native of Luzerne County, PA, and a resident of Green County, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late James & Vivian Allen Miers. Her husband of 60 years, Carlton Patton, survives. She leaves 13 direct living descendants. Her final resting place is in her adopted Green County, KY.
