She was a retired secretary from Fruit of the Loom and a member of the Jamestown United Methodist Church. She was member of a highly regarded Jamestown, KY family, the daughter of the late Linnie Esther (Wooldridge) Holt & Adren Ray Lawless, and the widow of Paul Walkup. She leaves 12 direct and five step living descendants. Her final resting place will be in Jamestown, KY

Anna L. Walkup, 87, of Jamestown, KY passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at Hospice House of Southern KY, in Bowling Green, KY. Funeral services for Anna L. Walkup will be Saturday December 30, 2017, at 11amCT, at the Jamestown United Methodist Church, 201 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Ed Parton officiating, Friends may visit on 5pm-8pmCT, Friday, December 29, 2017,and after 8amCT on Saturday. Burial will be in the Jamestown City Cemetery beside the church.

Anna was born in Jamestown, KY January 5, 1930 a daughter of the late Linnie Esther (Wooldridge) Holt & Adren Ray Lawless. She died Tuesday, December 26, 2017, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 87 years, 11 months, and 21 days.

She was a retired secretary from Fruit of the Loom and a member of the Jamestown United Methodist Church.

She is survived by:
  • Two daughters: Paulette (Larry) Wells, of Alvaton, KY; and Annette (Bob) Auth, of Jamestown, KY

  • Four sisters: Joyce (Joe) Feese, Carole Tupman, Rachel (Gary) Cunningham and Frances (Ken) Mason all of Jamestown, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Christopher Wells, and Amy(Bobby) Berry.

  • Two step grandchildren: Wayne Auth, and Charie(Chad) Farris

  • Four great grandchildren: Aidan, Ethan, Daniel and Matthew Berry

  • Three step great grandchildren: Mary and Hope McCoy, andMeghann Joy Farris
Anna was preceded in death by her father, Adren Lawless, step father Orville Holt, mother Linnie (Wooldridge) Holt, husband Paul Walkup, step brother Jack Holt, two step sisters Lois McKinley and Elizabeth Bell, step grandson Robert Auth, Jr, and step granddaughter Della McCoy.

Family request memorial donations to the Jamestown United Methodist Church, Lions Club Eye Bank, or Hospice House of Southern KY and can be made at the church.
