Audra Royse, Adair County, KY (1931-2017)

She was a member of an old line, highly regarded Columbia, KY, family and the matriarch of an accomplished family. She was the daughter of the late U.L. & Bertha Mae Pollard Rogers and the widow of Dan Royse. She was a member of Columbia-Union Presbyterian Church and a homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a great friend to many people.

Audra Royse, 86 of Columbia, KY passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 9:20amCT at her home after several weeks illness.

A memorial service for Audra Royse will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, with Rev. Jack Rogers the officiating clergy. The family will receive friends after 10amCT, on Saturday January 6, 2108 at the funeral home.



Audra Royse, Adair County, KY (1931-2017)

She was born July 13, 1931 the daughter of the late Ulysses "U L" & Bertha Mae Pollard Rogers of Adair Co. KY. She died Tuesday, December 19, 2017, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 86 years, five months, and six days. She was preceded in death by her husband: Dan Royse on September 15, 2006, and by these brothers and sisters: J.C. Rogers, Loren Rogers, Siblye Hortense Wantye, Mary Nell Halcomb, and Julia Conover. She is survived by one daughter:
  • Terrie Royse of Columbia, KY

  • Two sons: Mark Royse and Timmy (Gidget) Royse, all of Columbia, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Tyler Royse (Shaunna), Rhea Heyman (Daniel), Katie Hancock (Nick), Emilee Royse, and Abby Taylor (Les)

  • A special niece: Patricia Harper of Columbia, KY

  • And everal nieces and nephews.
Audra was a member of Columbia Union Presbyterian Church and a homemaker. Audra was a loving mother, grandmother and a great friend to many people.
