Shoplifting arrest made by ACSO during Shop with Sheriff trip

Incident occurs at Columbia Walmart. Suspect arrested by Deputy Joey Keith on shoplifting and meth charges, served four outstanding warrants - three out of Russell County, one from Adair, and was lodged in Adair County Regional Jail, Columbia, KY. Adair County Sheriff Harrison Moss and Deputy Brandon Hitch assisted in the apprehension.
Note: Charges/allegations are not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by law enforcement is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

Adair County Sheriff Harrison Moss reports that on Monday afternoon December 18, 2017 Deputies were participating in the Annual Shop with Sheriff program, when they observed a subject attempting to leave Walmart with stolen items.


Upon further investigation the suspect, 28 year Ronald Litteral, was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

Litteral was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, and shoplifting under $500.

The suspect was also served with four outstanding warrants of arrest; three out of Russell County and one out of Adair County.

Litteral was arrested and lodged in The Adair County Regional Jail by Deputy Joey Keith, who was assisted by Deputy Brandon Hitch and Sheriff Harrison Moss.
