Frankie Turpin, Windsor, KY (1938-2017)

He was a bulldozer builder for Harrison Steel in Indiana. Frankie was an avid rabbit and coon hunter. He also enjoyed horseback riding. He was a native of Casey County, KY, and was a resident of Casey County, KY, at the time of his death here. He was the son of the late Amos Wolford Turpin & Irene Adkins Neal. He leaves 18 direct living descendants. final resting place will be in Casey County, KY.

Frankie Turpin, of Windsor, KY, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017, at Casey County Hospital, Liberty, KY. He was 79.

The funeral service will be held at 10amCT/11amET on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY with Bro. Kenny Spaw officiating. Burial will follow in South Fork Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at the funeral home.


Frankie Turpin, Windsor, KY (1938-2017)

Born on April 26, 1938, in Casey County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Amos Wolford Turpin & Irene Adkins Neal. He died Sunday, December 17, 2017, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 79 years, seven months, and 21 days.

He was a bulldozer builder for Harrison Steel in Indiana. Frankie was an avid rabbit and coon hunter. He also enjoyed horseback riding.

He is survived by
  • Three sons, Randall (Reva) Richardson of Attica, IN; Trever (Tina) Turpin of Oxford, IN; , and Travis (Wendy) Turpin of Attica, IN;

  • Eight grandchildren

  • Seven great-grandchildren

  • Two sisters: Linda Turpin of Hustonville, KY; and Marie Davis of Russell Springs, KY
In addition to his parents, Frankie was preceded in death by a son, Russell Loren Richardson; and his step-mother, Patrie Marie Luttrell Turpin.

In lieu of flowers, contributions of sympathy may be made to the Luttrell Cemetery care fund to Linda Turpin at P.O. Box 168 Hustonville, KY 40437.
