Mr. Joe Allen Judd, 70, Green County, KY (1947-2017)

He had made a profession of faith in Christ was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church and was co-owner and operator of Judd's Painting. He was a member of a respected Green County, KY, family, the son of the late Ruhel Judd & Nadine London Judd. His wife of 23 years, Marlene Higgason Blakeman Judd, survives. He leaves seven direct and one step living descendants.

Mr. Joe Allen Judd of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Ruhel Judd and Nadine London Judd, was born on Thursday, April 10, 1947 in Green County and departed this life on Monday, December 11, 2017 at the Cumberland County Hospital. He was 70 years, 8 months, and one day of age.

The funeral services for Mr. Joe Allen Judd was conducted at 10amCT, Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens, Summersville, KY, with Bro. Larry Wisdom and Dr. Gary Ervin officiating. Visitation was 4pm-8pmCT, Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Friday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: James David Judd, Mark H. Blakeman, Benny Judd, Chris Whitlock, Kyle Judd, Jaysen Judd, Bradley Judd, and Eddie Judd.

Mr. Joe Allen Judd of Greensburg, KY, son of the late Ruhel Judd & Nadine London Judd, was born on Thursday, April 10, 1947 in Green County and departed this life on Monday, December 11, 2017 at the Cumberland County Hospital, Burkesville, KY. He was 70 years, 8 months, and one day of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church and was co-owner and operator of Judd's Painting.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Marlene Higgason Blakeman Judd of Greensburg, KY, having united in marriage on July 9, 1994.

Other survivors include:
  • Two sons and daughters-in-law: Anthony Joe & Jennifer Judd, and James David & Tina Judd, all of Greensburg, KY

  • A step-son: Mark H. Blakeman & his wife, Suzanne of Greensburg, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Kyle Judd & his fiance, Jasmine Lawson; Jaysen Judd, Bradley Judd, Rhys Judd and Ryker Judd all of Greensburg, KY

  • Two brothers and sisters-in-law: Larry & Sharon Judd of Greensburg, KY; and Benny & Mary Susan Judd of Russell Springs, KY

  • Two sisters and a brother-in-law: Patty Judd & Kathy and Johnnie Jessie all of Greensburg, KY

  • Two aunts: Garnieda Squires of Taylor County, KY; and Mary Sue Vanarsdale of Greensburg

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
