Campbellsville Independent Schools (CIS)

Campbellsville High School girls' and boys' basketball teams swept Taylor County on Tuesday, December 5, 2017.



In the girls' match up, CHS won by a score of 54-46.

CHS senior Nena Barnett led the team with 15 points, followed by Campbellsville Middle School eighth-grader Bri Gowdy with 14.

In the boys' match up, CHS sophomore Malachi Corley scored at the buzzer to get the win.

Final score was 58-56.

Anthony Epps is the CHS girls' basketball head coach.

Assistant coaches are Katie Wilkerson, Natalia Warren and Debbie Gowdy-Smith.

CHS girls' junior varsity and varsity teams will travel to Hancock County on Saturday, December 9, 2017.

Tim Davis is in his 23rd year as CHS boys' basketball head coach.

Assistant coaches are Cody Wills, Will Griffin, Chris "Scoop" Smith and Chris "Peewee" Smith.

CHS boys' junior varsity and varsity teams will travel to Meade County on Friday, December 8, 2017.
