Jackie Holt, 74, Dunnville, KY (1943-2017)

He was a retired General Motors (GM) employee who had worked for GM in Norwood, OH, Ft. Wayne, IN and Sharonville, OH. He was in the U.S. Army National Guard and attended Dunnville Christian Church. He was the son of the late Leslie & Viola Stogsdill Holt. His wife, Inice Mae Roy Price Holt, survives. He leaves nine direct and two step- living descendants.

Jackie Holt, age 74, of Dunnville, KY passed away on Monday December 4, 2017 at the University of Kentucky.

Funeral Services will be held 12:30pmCT/1:30pmET, Thursday December 7, 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, with Rev. Derrick Terry and Rev. Derek Holmes officiating. Burial will be in the Valley Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Wednesday December 6, 2017 and after 7amCT/8amET, Thursday December 7, 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

Jackie Holt was born in Dabney, Pulaski County, KY on January 10, 1943. He was a son of the late Leslie & Viola Stogsdill Holt. He died on Monday December 4, 2017 in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 74 years, 10 months, and 24 days.

He was a retired General Motors (GM) employee. He worked for GM in Norwood, OH, Ft. Wayne, IN and Sharonville, OH, was in the U.S. Army National Guard and attended Dunnville Christian Church.

Survivors include:
  • His wife: Inice Mae Roy Price Holt

  • One son: Brian and (Jennifer) Holt of Osceola, IN

  • One daughter: Amy Holt of Lexington, KY

  • One step-son: Craig and (Mary Beth) Price of Dunnville, KY

  • One step-daughter: Regenia and (Gary) Grant of Russell Springs, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Makaila and Paxton Holt, Lacey and (Derrick) Terry, Jenny and (Kevin) Frank and Tyler Grant

  • Two great grandchildren: Callie and Colin Terry

  • Three sisters: Juanita Roberts, Hilda Hunter and Bertie Pitman all of Cincinnati, OH.

    Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his First Spouse: Nancy Louise Martin Holt, Three Brothers: Frank VonRohr, Charles "Bud" VonRohr and Gary Holt and One Sister: Betty Walters.
