She was a member of Cane Valley Homemakers for over 50 years, member of the Columbia Community Choir and Columbia Women's Club. She was a member of an outstanding family. She was the daughter of the late Homer & Lettie Feese Roberts Christie and the widow of Marvin Hutchison. She leaves 11 direct living descendants.
