She was a native of Wayne County, KY, and a resident of Taylor County, KY at the time of her death. She was the matriarch of a respected family. She was the widow of Roy Lee Parrott, Jr. She leaves seven direct living descendants.

Margie Parrott, 84, of Campbellsville, KY died at 3:04pmET, Friday, December 1, 2017 in Campbellsville.

Funeral servics was at 1pmCT/2pmET, Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY by Rev. J. Alvin Hardy. Burial will be Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 11am-1pmCT/2pm-2pmET, Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Margie Parrott, 84, Taylor Co., KY (1933-2017)

Margie Parrott was born September 25, 1933 in Wayne County, KY. She died at Friday, December 1, 2017 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 84 years, two months, and six days.

She united in marriage to Roy Lee Parrott Jr. and he preceded her in death in 1958.

Margie is survived by:
  • One daughter: Nancy White and husband, Curt of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Andrea Dicken and husband, Scotty; and Jon Hutchens and wife, Courtney, all of Campbellsville, KY

  • Four great-grandchildren: Daniel Hutchens, Piper Hutchens, Gabriel Hutchens, and Jaden Strange

  • One sister: Willis Baxter of Crothersville, IN

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by a son and daughter: David Antwerp and Kathy Lee Parrott; two brothers and one sister: Orville Lowe, Purtel Lowe and Dottie Parrott.
