Barbara Jean Gibson of Hodgenville, KY, daughter of the late Eugene Sheridan and Alice Stack Sheridan, was born December 10, 1937 in Spokane, Washington. She died at 10amET, Saturday, November 18, 2017 in Hodgenville. Age: 79

Mass of Christian Burial, will be at 10amCT/11amET, Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 213 University Drive, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Fr. Saju Vadakumpadan. Visitation will be 8am-9:40amCT/9am-10:40amET, Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY. Interment will be in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church Cemetery.

Barbara Jean Gibson was the daughter of the late Eugene Sheridan & Alice Stack Sheridan. She was born Friday, December 10, 1937 in Spokane, WA. She died, Saturday, November 18, 2017 in Hodgenville, LaRue County, KY, at the age of 79 years, 11 months, and eight days.

Barbara worked at Inspiritec in Fort Knox. She was a member of the local bridge club and she cared for her canine companion, Timothy, like family.

She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church where she sang in the choir.

She is survived by:
  • One daughter and two sons: Jeanne Goodsell of Hodgenville, KY; David Gibson and wife, Krystal of Aurora, CO; and Thomas Gibson and wife, Brenda of Atkins, AR

  • Four grandchildren: Dr. Alex Goodsell and fiance, Dr. Laura Hench of Lexington, KY; Keefe Gibson, and Conner Gibson and wife, Samantha, of Aurora, CO; and Kyle Matthews and husband, Ryan, of West Virginia

  • Two great-grandchildren

  • One sister: Dianna Sellin of California

  • And many other relatives and friends
The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
