Franceda Kay Gaddie Mudd, 65, Green County, KY (1953-2017)

Franceda had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the 2nd Baptist Church in Greensburg. She had lived a life of service and caring. She was a retired Family Services Case Worker. She was the daughter of Bobby & Margaret Yvonne Calhoun Gaddie and the widow of Donald Eugene Mudd. She leaves 13 direct living descendants and one step descendant.

Franceda Kay Gaddie Mudd, 65, departed this life Monday, November 20, 2017 from injuries she received in an automobile accident in Green County, KY.

Funeral service will be at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, at 1pmCT, Sunday, November 26, 2017. Wake and visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT Saturday, November 25, 2017, and after 7amCT, Sunday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg. Ministers will be Rev. James Jackson, Eulogy; and Rev. James Washington, Master of Ceremony.



Pallbearers: Christopher Michael Lewis, Derrick Gaddie, Christopher Shawn Spaulding, Nolan Dunston, Andre' Calhoun and Mario Hughes

Honorary Pallbearers: Frankie Calhoun, Zachary Coates, Shamaar Gaddie, Malique Spaulding, Antonio Vaught, Mikael Vaught, Kaevin Spaulding, Chaszton Bridgewater, Daniel Taylor and Donovan Taylor.

> Franceda Kay Gaddie Mudd was born November 12, 1953 in Indianapolis, Marion County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Bobby & Margaret Yvonne Calhoun Gaddie. She departed this life Monday, November 20, 2017 from injuries she received in an automobile accident, in Green County, KY. She had attained the age of 64 years and eight days.

Franceda had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the 2nd Baptist Church in Greensburg. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death April 5, 2010 by her husband, Donald Eugene Mudd. She was a retired Family Services Case Worker.

She is survived by:
  • Three daughters and one son: Netausha Gaddie-Coates and her husband Victor of Louisville, KY; Samuel Edward Gaddie and his wife Tasha of Greensburg, KY; Charletta and Chanta Gaddie, both of Atlanta, GA

  • One step daughter: Donna Reed of Cincinnati, Ohio

  • One sister: Prentice Spaulding of Woodbridge, VA

  • Eight grandchildren: Shamaar Gaddie, Zachary Coates, Khalel, An'asia, and R'eal Gaddie; HaLeigh Coates, Kaylyn Reed and Nora Tidjaniould

  • One great grandchild: Cash Sulzer

  • Plus a host of other relatives and friends
