See Album, First Half of the Drive: OCC 2017 - Halfway point summary, with attached photo album

By Mark & Denise Fudge

We would like to thank the individuals, churches, and organizations of Adair and surrounding counties that made our 2017 OCC shoebox drive such a great success.

We collected the second largest amount of boxes since we started this project several years ago. At the end of the day on Monday we had collected 3320 shoebox gifts. That's 3320 children and families that will receive the gift of love and a great blessing thanks to your love and generosity.

A special thanks to all of the volunteers that donated their time and services over the last eight days.

Two hundred and five Adair Countians and Lindsey Wilson students and staff volunteered a total of 360 hours.

We would also like to recognize the Columbia Church of the Nazarene for allowing us to use their Wheet Fellowship Hall as the collection center. Their generosity allows us to collect boxes not only from Adair County but we also serve as a drop off center for Casey and Taylor Counties as well.

Once again, thank you Adair County and God bless you.

-Mark and Denise Fudge
