She was a member of a respected Green County, KY, family, the daughter of the late Clarence Russell & Pearl Jones Russell and the widow of William H. Morgan, her husband of over 41 years. She leaves two direct living descendants.

Mrs. Norma Jean Morgan of Greensburg, Kentucky,departed this life on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow. She was 80 years, 6 months, and 16 days of age.

The funeral services for Mrs. Norman Jean Morgan will be conducted at 10amCT, Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Greasy Creek Cemetery, Edmonton Road/US 68 W, Greensburg, KY. Bro. Wilburn Bonta will officiate. Visitation is requested from 4pm until 8pmCT, Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Wednesday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Brandon Bowling, Ryan Keltner, Mike Groce, Denny Atwell, Dave Atwell, and Eric Ryan.

Honorary pallbearers: Robbie Morgan, Mike Moon, Eddie Wright, Doug Marcum, Gerald David Jones, Ronnie Jones, and Denny Lobb

Mrs. Norma Jean Morgan of Greensburg, Green County, KY, daughter of the late Clarence Russell & Pearl Jones Russell, was born on Monday, May 3, 1937 in Green County and departed this life on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow, Barren County, KY. She was 80 years, 6 months, and 16 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a homemaker.

She united in marriage to William H. Morgan on June 14, 1958 who preceded her in death on January 20, 2000.

Survivors include:
  • A son and daughter-in-law: Kenny and Dana Morgan of Greensburg, KY

  • A grandson: Chris Morgan of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Mrs. Morgan was also preceded in death by a sister: Maydell Pruitt.
