COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team sped past visiting Simmons College of Kentucky 99-29 on Monday night at Biggers Sports Center.

Five Blue Raiders scored in double figures led by Hannah DeBruin's career-high 22 points on 10-for-14 shooting. Reagan Turner matched a career-high with 20 points and shot a perfect 9-for-9 from the floor. Dakota Smith posted her first career double-double in a Blue Raider uniform to the tune of 16 points and 12 rebounds. Molly Stone added 14 points on 5-of-5 shooting while Devin Cheatum chipped in 11 points.



Lindsey Wilson (6-1) scored the first 14 points of the game and never looked back as the Blue Raiders made 16-of-20 shots in the first 10 minutes of play en route to a 37-7 lead. That lead stretched to 56-13 by the halftime horn.

The Blue Raiders shot 63.2 percent in the first half, including scoring 36 of their 56 points in the paint and turning the ball over just twice.

Lindsey Wilson continued to control the game in the second half as the Blue Raiders outscored the Falcons (0-4) 23-2 in the third quarter, eventually pulling away for the 99-29 victory.

LWC recorded a season-high 63 total rebounds in the win, and a season-low seven turnovers.

DeVianna Ruff led the Falcons with 14 points in the loss.
