Christmas in Columbia organizers plan the Christmas Carnival

At Holloway HHW, 299 Williams Street, Columbia, KY: Children can enjoy inflatables, crafts, story book time, and a puppy pit while families can visit a variety of local Christmas vendors and enjoy live Christmas music.

Saturday December 2, 2017, from 1pmCT to 4pm, the seventh annual Christmas in Columbia Christmas Carnival will take place at the Holloway Health and Wellness Center on the campus of Lindsey Wilson College, Columbia, KY. This has become a tradition as part of the annual Christmas in Columbia celebration.

The Christmas Carnival is free and open to the public. Families are encouraged to donate canned food items to help the local community during the Christmas season.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available to greet and take pictures with children from 1:30pmCT to 3:30pm.



Children can enjoy inflatables, crafts, story book time, and a puppy pit while families can visit a variety of local Christmas vendors and enjoy live Christmas music.

Macey Jenkins, Lindsey Wilson College senior from Bowling Green, KY, at left, attended the Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce board meeting Tuesday, November 14, 2017, as part of her duties of Christmas in Columbia carnival coordinator. She works with Chamber board member Abe Cross, at right, director of the LWC Holloway health and Wellness Center, the location of the annual Christmas Carnival, complete with Santa Claus. Macey's work was to continue tying down details of the event which is a part of the annual Christmas in Columbia tradition.
