Mike Barbee, 57, Taylor Co./Adair Co. native (1959-2017) He was formerly employed by Fruit of the Loom. He was a member of a large, highly regarded South Central KY family. He grew up in Adair County, KY, the son of the late Addie Taylor Barbee - who absolutely adored him - and his late father, Bardin Barbee. His wife, Kim Perkins Barbee, survives. He leaves seven direct living descendants, close family in Adair and Taylor Counties and elsewhere across the U.S. and a special family member, his fur-baby, Roscoe P. Coltrane Barbee.
