CPD executes three sealed indictments; 3 arrested

Arrests are result of investigation initiated by CPD Det. Brad Scholl, who is continuing the investigation. More arrests are forthcoming. Click on headline for complete story

Columbia Police Department officers have executed three sealed indictments of arrest for drug trafficking charges in Adair County.



The arrests came after CPD Detective Brad Scholl initiated an drug investigation into the individuals and the possibility of them being involved in the illegal sale or distribution of controlled substances .

As a result:
- 30 year old Joseph Harrison was arrested and charged with 2 counts of trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree methamphetamine

- 19 year old Dakota Stotts was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st degree methamphetamine

- 46 year old John Giles was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st degree 1st offense
All three were lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
