He was a member of a leading Russell County, KY family, the son of the late Orvis & Belva Meece Wilson. His wife, Joy Stephens Wilson, survives. He leaves five direct and 12 step living descendants. Funeral service for Lewell Wilson will be 4pmCT, Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Russell Springs United Methodist Church, 226 Jamestown Street, Russell Spirngs, KY, with Bro. Timo Karvonen, Bro. Jim Kingry, and Bro. Dennis Price officiating. Visitation will be after 10amCT, Saturday at the church. Interment in the Union Cemetery. Special Music will be rendered by Dean & Sheila McKinley, grandchildren. Active Pallbearers: Reggie Roy, Matt Gosser, Darrin Edwards Brandon Selby, Jack Wayne Stephens, Gary Copley, and James Grimes.
