Donald owned and operated a saw mill. He was a member of Labascus Church of Christ. Donald enjoyed fishing, hunting, and hanging out at McDonalds. He was the son of the late Gilbert & Eva "Mlullon" Mason. His wife, Brenda Thompson Mason, survives.

Donald Mason, of Liberty, KY, passed away on October 24, 2017, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY. He was 72.

The funeral service was held at 12pmCT/1pmET, on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY with Bro. Casey Davis officiating. Burial is in Glenwood Cemetery. The family received friends from 10amCT/11mET to 12pmCT/1pmET, on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Born on October 29, 1944, in Casey County, KY, he was a son of the late Coy Gilbert & Eva "MClullon" Mason. He died Tuesday, October 24, 2017, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY at the age of 72 years, 11 months, and 25 days.

Donald owned and operated a saw mill. He was a member of Labascus Church of Christ. Donald enjoyed fishing, hunting, and hanging out at McDonalds.

He is survived by:
  • His wife: Brenda Thompson Mason, Liberty, KY

  • A sister: Phyllis Baldock of Liberty, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Miller; and a brother.
