Click on headline for full story By Anthony Latessa COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team opens up the season ranked eighth in the NAIA Preseason Coaches' Top-25 Poll, the national office announced Tuesday. The Blue Raiders received 170 points in the poll. Last season, Lindsey Wilson set a program record in wins with 32 and started the season 27-0 which was the best start in program history. The Blue Raiders made their second consecutive appearance in the NAIA National Quarterfinals. Defending national champion Oklahoma City is ranked No. 1. The Stars earned 219 points in the poll and eight first-place votes. No. 2 is Lewis Clark State (ID) with 207 points, No. 3 is Freed Hardeman (TN) with 204 points, No. 4 is Vanguard (CA) and rounding out the top five is Mid-South Conference member Shawnee State who earned one first-place vote. Campbellsville (KY) and Cumberland (TN) are the other two MSC schools in the top-25. The Tigers are ranked No. 6 and earned 186 points in the poll while the Phoenix come in at No. 22 with 77 points.
