Bennie (Foot) Curry, 76, Taylor County, KY/Green County native (1941-2017)

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Pitman Valley Baptist Church. He was a former car salesman for over 25 years and later a salesman at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bennie enjoyed talking on the CB radio acquiring the name "Big Foot" as his CB handle. He always enjoyed talking to people with a sense of humor and laughing and telling of good jokes.His wife, Donna Agee Curry, survives. He leaves 30 direct living descendants.

Bennie "Foot" Curry, 76 years of age, departed this life on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in Campbellsville at his residence.

The funeral service for Bennie "Foot" Curry will be conducted Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11amCT/12pmET, in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with Entombment in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY. Bro. Dannie Nelson and Bro. Ronnie Dooley will be officiating. Visitation after 10amCT/11amET, Saturday at the funeral home.

Bennie "Foot" Curry, was the son of the late Claudie & Lola B Pierce Curry, was born, Thursday, May 1, 1941, in Green County, KY. and departed this life on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY at the age of 76 years, 5 months and 24 days

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Pitman Valley Baptist Church. He was a former car salesman for over 25 years and later a salesman at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Bennie enjoyed talking on the CB radio acquiring the name "Big Foot" as his CB handle. He always enjoyed talking to people with a sense of humor and laughing and telling of good jokes.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Curry.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Agee Curry of Campbellsville, KY, and the following:
  • A daughter: Rita Stocksdale and husband Skip of Indiana

  • Three sons: Terry Curry of Columbia, KY; James Dean Curry and wife Carlene and David Curry and wife Loretta, all of Somerset, KY

  • A sister-in-law: Gatha Williams and husband Billy of Russell Springs, KY.

  • Ten grandchildren: Bridget, Brandon, Jasper, Jacob, Jared, Kristen, Chad, Candace, Michael and Jason

  • Sixteen great-grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends

Memorials are suggested to the donation of Gideon Bibles, or Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum which can be made at the funeral home.
