Mrs. Vicky (Groce) Avery, 60, Burkesville, KY (1956-2017)

She was of the Christian faith and was a production worker for Keystone Foods. She was a member of a respected Cumberland County, KY, family, the daughter of Aira Riddle Groce & the late Willie "Bee" Groce. Her husband of six years, Jeff Avery, survives.

Mrs. Vicky (Groce) Avery of Burkesville, KY passed away Monday, October 23, 2017 at her residence, having attained the age of 60 years, 11 months and 9 days. She was born in Burkesville, KY on Wednesday, November 14, 1956, the daughter of Willie "Bee" and Aira (Riddle) Groce.

The funeral service with Bro. Charles Huddleston officiating, will be at 11amCT, Friday, October 27, 2017 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY. Burial will be in the Groce Cemetery in Cumberland County, KY. The family will receive friends after 12pmNoonCT on Thursday, October 26, 2017 until the funeral hour on Friday.

Mrs. Vicky (Groce) Avery was born in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, on Wednesday, November 14, 1956. She was the daughter of Willie "Bee" & Aira (Riddle) Groce. She died Monday, October 23, 2017 in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 60 years, 11 months and nine days.

She was of Christian faith and a Production Worker for Keystone Foods.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willie "Bee" Groce, her paternal grandparents, Capp and Cora Groce, and her maternal grandparents, Leo Riddle and Pansy Spears Riddle Wagoman.

She is survived by:
  • Her mother: Aira (Riddle) Groce, Burkesville, KY

  • Her husband, Jeff Avery, Burkesville, KY, whom she married October 14, 2011

  • Her siblings: Larry (and Shelly) Groce of Indianapolis, IN; and Geary Groce of Burkesville, KY
