Alta Hensley, Taylor Co., KY/Hart Co., KY native (1926-2017) She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church which she served faithfully for many years. Alta was an elder, youth sponsor and Crusade leader for the Cumberland Presbytery. After retiring from public work she also took on the roll of Church Treasurer. Alta was always supporting others, whether it was in her many roles in her church and her community or during her 35 years as the receptionist at Fruit of the Loom; all of which had many challenges that she managed to handle with both poise and grace. Alta Hensley, Taylor Co., KY/Hart Co., KY native (1926-2017) Alta Hensley was daughter of the late Harry Adams & Ella Kessler Adams. She was born April 14, 1926 in Hart County, KY. She died Saturday, October 21, 2017 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 91 years, six months, and seven days.
