ER report of stabbing allegations lead to arrest of Columbia man Victim treated at ER, transferred to by ambulance to UL Hospital. ER notified law enforcement and subsequent investigation leads to arrest Note: Charges/allegations are not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by law enforcement is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding. By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer News from KSP Post 15, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY (12 Oct 2017) - 43-year-old Donald Wayne Christenberry, of Columbia, was arrested today at 4:27amCT on South Burkesville Road in the limits of Columbia and charged with Assault 1st degree and Assault 4th degree (domestic violence) Minor Injury. The charges stemmed from an investigation into a stabbing that occurred on an unknown area of KY Hwy 206 when Christenberry allegedly stabbed 57-year-old Brent Ollery, of Columbia, KY. Ollery was taken to the TJ Sampson hospital to be treated for a knife wound to the neck area and was then relayed by ambulance to the University of Louisville Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The ER notified law enforcement of the incident. Following that incident, Christenberry returned to his residence on Spring Drive, Columbia, KY, and was involved in a second altercation with 48-year-old Brenda Lucas which led to the Assault 4th charge. Christenberry was lodged in the Adair County Jail. Detective Nick Davis is investigating. This story was posted on 2017-10-12 15:03:37
