Florence Gayle Stargel, 64, of Jamestown, KY, died Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Funeral service for Florence Gayle Stargel will be 2pmCT, Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral Home chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, Ky, with Bro. Delt Haydon officiating. Visitation will be after 11amCT, Saturday. Interment in the Clear Springs Cemetery, Russell County, KY.

She was born November 20, 1952 in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Charles & Mary Schilling Petry. She died Thursday, October 5, 2017, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 64 years, 10 months. and 15 days.

Gayle was a homemaker.

Survivors include:
  • Her husband: Gene Stargel, Jamestown, KY

  • Six children: Willie Stargel, Franklin, IN; Larry Stargel, Indianapolis, IN; John Stargel, Franklin, IN; Shannon Stargel, Owensboro, KY; Angela Stargel, Russell Springs, KY; and Julie (Ron) Brumley, Jamestown, KY

  • Ten grandchildren
