LWC Men's Soccer remains 5th in national Top 25 poll

Two other MSC teams ranked: Campbellsville University,12th, and Cumberland (TN), 23.

COLUMBIA, KY - (Tues 3 Oct 2017) - The NAIA announced their fifth regular season Men's Soccer Top-25 Coaches' Poll on Tuesday, and the Blue Raiders remained at No. 11.



Lindsey Wilson (5-1-0, 1-0-0 Mid-South Conference) received 337 points in the poll. The Blue Raiders have been ranked in 121 consecutive polls which is the longest active streak in the NAIA.

William Carey (MS) is No. 1 with 497 points. The Crusaders earned 16 first-place votes.

Rounding out the top five are, No. 2 Missouri Valley who earned two first-place votes and 483 points in the poll. No. 3 Rio Grande (Ohio) with 465 points, No. 4 Oklahoma Wesleyan and No. 5 Corban (OR).

Campbellsville (KY) and Cumberland (TN) are the only other MSC teams in the poll. The Tigers are ranked No. 12 and earned 320 points in the poll while the Phoenix are at No. 23 with 138 points.
