She was a member of the Edmonton United Methodist Church and she was a homemaker. She was a member of a respected Metcalfe County family, the daughter of the late William Leon Jessie & Ruthie Fields Jessie. Her husband, Joe Jessie, survives.

Ruby Lois Acree, age 74 of Edmonton, KY, passed away at Metcalfe County Health Care on Monday, October 2, 2017.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, at 1pmCT. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT, Thursday, October 5, 2017. Burial will be in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens.


Ruby Lois Acree, 74, Metcalfe County, KY (1942-2017)

She was the daughter of the late William Leon Jessie & Ruthie Fields Jessie. She was born March 10, 1942. She died Monday, October 2, 2017, in Edmonton, Metcalfe County, KY, at the age of 74 years, six months, and 22 days.

Lois was a member of the Edmonton United Methodist Church and she was a homemaker.

Lois is survived by:
  • Her husband: Joe Acree

  • Nieces; Genie, Lucy, Kim, and Tammy

  • Her aunts and uncles
Lois was proceeded in death by her parents, William Leon Jessie & Ruthie Fields Jessie, as well as her brother, Joe Jessie.
