Levi Owens, Burkesville, KY, is MSC Runner of the week

COLUMBIA, KY - (Tue 26 Sep 2017) - Lindsey Wilson's Levi Owens has been named the Mid-South Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Owens led the Blue Raiders with a 19th place finish at the Austin Peay State University Invitational on Saturday. He posted a time of 20:02 in the 53-man field.



The freshman from Burkesville, KY, helped Lindsey Wilson end in fourth in the eight-team competition. His finish was one minute and 48 seconds off the first-place time.

Owens earns his first player of the week honor of his career.
