Squarecrow registration grows again - now 33 are entered Squarecrow Registration continues this morning at 8amCT September 25, 2017 at the Adair County Library, 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Call the library, 270-384-2472, with any questions. The number of entrants for the 2017 Squarecrow contest is now up to 33, Lee Ann Jessee reported in a telephone call this morning just after 9amCT, this morning. There's no hard-and-fast deadline for acceptance of contest entrants, but they do need to be up in time for the judging -- the first round of judging will take place over two or three days starting October 1, 2017. The People's Choice judging will be done during Downtown Days, which are Fri & Sat, 13 & 14 Oct 2017, this year. Placements of the Squarecrows can begin at any time between now and Downtown Days, she said. And, she said, she could see no reason why out-of-county entrants would not be welcome, too.
