Click on headline for complete story By Charles Balcom & Anthony Latessa News from Lindsey Wilson College CLARKSVILLE, TN - (Sat 23 Sep 2017) – The Lindsey Wilson men's cross country team finished in fourth place at the Austin Peay State Invitational and the the Lindsey Wilson women's cross country team turned in a fifth-place finish at the Austin Peay State Invitational on Sat 23 Sep 2017. Blue Raider women finished 4th at Austin Peay State Invitational The Blue Raider Men, who were the only NAIA team in the field of NCAA squads scored 105 points. Memphis (TN.) won the event with 20 team points. Host Austin Peay (TN) finished second with 43 points and Evansville (IN) came in third with 104 points. Clay Priddy was the top finisher for Lindsey Wilson coming in seventh. Priddy crossed the finish line in 18 minutes and 50 seconds. Levi Owens ran a time of 20:02.4 coming in 19th. Finishing two spots behind him was Trajon Hall. Hall finished with a time of 20:12.8. Marcus Terrell finished in 27th place with a time of 20:30.8. Caleb Watson finished with a time of 20:59.2 to finish 31st. Chase Williams came in 38th with a time of 21:24.9. - Charles Balcom Blue Raider women finished 5th at Austin Peay State Invitational The Blue Raider men finished the race with 128 points against the field of eight teams. Lindsey Wilson was the lone NAIA institution competing in the event. Mia Cornette led all Blue Raiders with a 12th-place finish. Cornette crossed the line in 19:31.7, missing out on a top-10 time by 26 seconds. Breana Conway was the next Blue Raider across the line, finishing in 21st place with a time of 20:14.7, while Dezare Jackson finished two spots behind her at 20:20.3. Kaylin Anderson finished in 35th place with a time of 21:14.5 and Abbie Chandler was the final runner to contribute to the LWC overall team score, finishing in 37th at 21:24.4.
