Robert "Bob" Kingsbury, 87, of Russell Springs, KY, died Thursday, September 14, 2017, at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

Visitation for Robert "Bob" Kingsbury will be Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N Main Street, from 12pmNoonCT-4pmCT, with cremation to follow.

He was born September 15, 1929, in Gouverneur, St. Lawrence County, NY. He was the son of the late Charles & Fern Wood Kingsbury. He died Thursday, September 14, 2017, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 87 years, 11 months, and 30 days.

Bob was an electrician at Reynolds Metals and a member of both the US Air Force and the US Army.

Survivors include

  • His wife: Mazie Kingsbury, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two daughters: Katheleen Pierce, Russell Springs, KY; and Carolanne Nelson, Florence, KY

  • One grandson: Michael Pierce

  • One sister: Marion Hunter, Cranberry Lake, NY

  • One brother: Richard Kingsbury, Cranberry Lake, NY
