Big Al Owens visits original McDonalds in Downey, CA Click on headline for item with photo(s) By Big Al, the Big Rig Trucker On Monday, September 11, 2017, I was fortunate enough to visit the original McDonald's in Downey, California. It is actually the third ever, but is the oldest still in existence. Visiting this place has been a long-time goal of mine. It's kind of like, for Kentuckians, visiting the original Col. Sanders Restaurant in Corbin, KY, something I recommend if you've not done so, already. I'm sharing some photo(s) of the trip, as I always try to do. Hope you all enjoy them. - Big Al Owens, the Big Rig Trucker This story was posted on 2017-09-14 04:31:47
