Ester H. Rode Kunz, Pellyton, Adair Co., KY (1926-2017)

She was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church, Neatsville, Adair County, KY. She was a native of Germany, a former resident of Pelly, Adair County, KY, at the time of her death in Jamestown, KY. She was the daughter of the late Theodore & Marie Schneider Rode, and the widow of Helmut Kunz. She leaves one direct living descendant, a son, Frank (and Cheryl) Kunz of Cincinnati. Her final resting place will be in Columbia, Adair County, KY.

Ester H. Kunz, 91, formerly of the Pellyton community, died Monday, August 21, 2017 at 3:40pmCT, at Fair Oaks Health Systems in Jamestown, KY.

Funeral service will be Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 12pmNoonCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Eldon Rucker officiating. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 10amCT, Saturday, at the funeral home.

She was born Friday, January 31, 1926, in Germany. She was the daughter of the late Theodore & Marie Schneider Rode. She died Monday, August 21, 2017, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 91 years, six months, and 21 days.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Helmut Kunz, and a sister, Christa Rode.

She was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Cheryl Myers of Cincinnati, Ohio
