LWC Teams fare well in preseason polling, Golf ranked #1 Women's Golf ranked 3rd, men's and women's cross country, volleyball, and women's soccer are all ranked in top 5 in their conference. Compiled from Lindsey Wilson College announcements The Lindsey Wilson men's golf team is the favorite to capture the Mid-South Conference title in 2017-18 according to the MSC Preseason Poll released by the conference office on Wednesday. The Blue Raiders, who captured the 2016-17 conference regular season title, received 33 total voting points, including four of the seven first-place votes, from the conference coaches. Lindsey Wilson men's golf has won eight MSC regular-season titles in its history. Lindsey's women's golf team is projected to finish third in the Mid-South Conference in 2017-18, according to the MSC Preseason Coaches' Poll released today by the conference office. Lindsey Wilson women's cross country is projected to finish fourth in the Mid-South Conference in 2017 according to the MSC Preseason Poll released by conference officials on Wednesday. The Blue Raiders tallied 29 voting points, including a first-place vote, in the poll. Lindsey Wilson women's cross country is tied with Life (GA) in the preseason ranking. The LWC men's cross country team was picked to finish fifth in the Mid-South Conference in 2017 according to the MSC Preseason Poll released by conference officials on Wednesday. Lindsey Wilson volleyball is ranked fifth in the 2017 Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches' Preseason Top-25 Poll, the NAIA office announced Tuesday afternoon. The Blue Raiders are ranked in the preseason top ten for the third-consecutive year. Lindsey Wilson volleyball went 35-2 in 2016 and claimed the Mid-South Conference regular season and tournament titles. The LWC women's soccer team starts the year ranked fifth in the NAIA Preseason Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the national office announced on Tuesday. The team is coming off a 16-3-1 season in 2016 where LWC won both the Mid-South Conference regular season and MSC Tournament titles before falling in the second round of the NAIA National Championship to Columbia (MO) 4-3 on penalties.
