Next earlier article, this story: Metcalfe County man charged with murder

By TFC Billy R. Gregory, Public Information Officer
Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY

SUMMER SHADE, KY - The State Medical Examiner's office used fingerprint comparisons to confirm the identity of the deceased as 30-year-old Bobby L. Hubert, of Summer Shade, KY. Hubert and Bobbie Lawson shared the residence where they became involved in an argument that led to Hubert being shot and killed by Lawson, who remains lodged in the Metcalfe County jail. The investigation is ongoing.

Note: Charges/allegations are not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by law enforcement is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
