Adair Co. Grand Jury returns indictments 15 Aug 2017

Indictments brought against 7 individuals from Columbia, Glasgow, and Russell Springs, KY on charges including human trafficking, sodomy, assault, burglary, DUI, and possession.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Adair County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Columbia, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday 15 August 2017:


  • Bobby Ray Roberts, Jr. (05/09/1976), New Hope Church Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00114. Charged with 6 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (<4g cocaine). Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Possession of a controlled substance, 2nd degree (drug unspecified). Count 4 - Prescription controlled substance no in original container, 1st offense. Count 5 - Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc. or alcohol concentration of or above .08, first offense. Count 6 - Possession of open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle. Arraignment 9/12/2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Robert Joseph Hausdorfer (03/19/1984), Fairground St., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR00115. Charged with 7 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Count 3 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 4 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Count 5 - Theft by unlawful taking/disposition, $500 or more but under $10,000. Count 6 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Count 7 - Criminal mischief, 3rd degree. Bail set at $7,500 cash, arraignment 9/12/2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Harvey Lee Pennington (08/15/1989), Oil Well Rd., Glasgow, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00116. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Theft by unlawful taking/disposition, $500 or more but under $10,000. Count 3 - Criminal mischief, 1st degree. Bail set at $5,000 c/p, arraignment 9/12/2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Daniel George Spieker (05/25/1943), Wheat Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00117. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Leaving the scene of an accident/failure to render aid/with death or serious physical injury. Count 2 - Failure to produce insurance card. Arraignment 9/12/2017 at 1pmCT.

  • William Todd Bryant (07/05/1972), Snake Creek Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00118. Charged with 297 counts. Count 1 - Human trafficking, victim under 18 years of age. Counts 2-46 - Sodomy, 1st degree. Counts 47-296 - Possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor. Count 297 - Promoting a sexual performance by a minor under 16. Bail set at $500,000 cash, arraignment 9/12/2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Jodessi K. Scholl (11/19/1996), Colony Dr., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00119. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Possession of marijuana. Count 3 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Arraignment 9/12/2017 at 1pmCT.

  • Heather George Bryant (01/08/1991), N. Hwy 127, Russell Springs, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-001120. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Assault, 2nd degree. Bail set at $1,000 cash, arraignment 9/12/2017 at 1pmCT.
