He was a native of San Diego County, KY, and a resident of Taylor County, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Dencil Belcher & Delores Gray Belcher. His wife, Donna Smothers Belcher, survives. He leaves five direct and five step- living descendants.

Burial will be inCampbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be at 10am-12pmNoonCT/11am-1pmET, at the funeral home.

Larry Belcher of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Dencil Belcher & Delores Gray Belcher, was born March 31, 1959 in San Diego County, CA. He died Saturday, August 12, 2017 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 58 years, four months, and 12 days.

He professed faith in Christ and attended Spurlington United Methodist Church.

Larry was a salesman with Whayne Supply.

He united in marriage to Donna Smothers October 16, 2014.

Besides his wife, Donna Belcher of Campbellsville, KY, he is survived by:
  • Three sons: Nathan Belcher and wife, Devon and Kyle Belcher of California and Ryan Belcher of Lexington, KY

  • One step-daughter: Danna Scott and husband, Gary of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two granddaughters: Claire Belcher and Chloe Belcher of California

  • Four step-grandchildren: Jordan Scott, Matthew Scott, Mattie Jean Scott and Danielle Carman, all of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three brothers: Roger Belcher and wife, Wanda of Hopkinsville, KY; Gary Belcher and wife, Darlene of Bowling Green, KY; and Paul Belcher and wife, Rheatta of Leitchfield, KY

  • Mother-in-law: Mattie Jean Smothers of Campbellsville, KY
