Bro Clifford DeHart, 85, Casey County, KY (1932-2017)

Bro. Clifford was an ordained minister of over 50 years. He served in Churches in Casey, Adair, Russell, and Wayne counties. Bro. Clifford was the founder and pastor of Mt. Calvary Community Church in Dunnville. He was a former member of the Craftsman Masonic Lodge #722. Bro. Clifford enjoyed helping people. He also enjoyed the outdoors and horses. He was the son of the late Willie Aubrey DeHart & Nannie Bell Chumbley DeHart and the widower of Nellie Rose Lee DeHart. He leaves 24 direct living descendants.

Bro. Clifford DeHart, 85, of Dunnville, KY, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017, at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT/2pmET, on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Road, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Allen Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the South Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT/5pm-9pmET, on Monday, August 14, 2017, with Masonic Funeral Rites at 7pmCT/8pmET.



Pallbearers will be Ronald and Billy DeHart, Paul Wilkerson, Leland Stevenson, Kendall Caudill, and Boyd Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Wilkerson, Ronnie DeHart, Keith Davis, Tanya, Misty, and Gage Roberts, and Glenda Caudill.

Born February 27, 1932, in Casey Co., KY. he was a son of the late Willie Aubrey DeHart & Nannie Bell Chumbley DeHart. He died Friday, August 11, 2017, in Dunnville, Casey County, KY, at the age of 85 years, five months, and 15 days.

Bro. Clifford was an ordained minister of over 50 years. He served in Churches in Casey, Adair, Russell, and Wayne counties. Bro. Clifford was the founder and pastor of Mt. Calvary Community Church in Dunnville. He was a former member of the Craftsman Masonic Lodge #722. Bro. Clifford enjoyed helping people. He also enjoyed the outdoors and horses.

Survivors include:
  • His son: Ronald (and Kim) DeHart of Russell Springs, KY

  • Daughters: Lois (and Paul) Wilkerson of Windsor, KY; Nancy (and Leland) Stevenson of Nancy, KY; and Pam Smith of Dunnville, KY

  • Brother: Morris DeHart of Russell Springs, KY

  • Sister: Betty (and Bill) Williams of Russell Springs, KY

  • Daughter-in-law: Brenda DeHart of Hustonville, KY

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Fourteen great-grandchildren
Bro. Clifford was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Rose Lee DeHart; son, Glen DeHart; brother, Aubrey Eugene DeHart; and one great-great grandson, Ezekiel Lewis.
