News from Columbia Rotary Club
The Columbia Rotary Club was designated a Star club having been in the top ten in supporting Paul Harris Trust in the Western District of Kentucky which covers Louisville to Columbia, over to Paducah.
District Governor Helen Hadley, Paducah, KY, presented Columbia Rotary President Gerry Holt the Gold Star for this great recognition.
The district governor also displayed a neckless during the presentation which contains the names of the the last 80 district governors. The presentation was made at the club's 4th Monday, July 24, 2017, meeting.
COLUMBIA ROTARY CLUB meets every second and fourth Monday of the month at Lindsey Wilson's Cranmer Dining Center, 430 Helen Flatt Drive, Columbia, KY at 6pmCT. Rotary is an international service club and Columbia Rotary welcomes men and women who are interested in serving their community. Guests and all who wish to become Rotarians are welcome at the meetings. - George Kolbenschlag
