She was a member of Beckham Ridge Separate Baptist Church. She was born in Glasgow, KY, and was a resident of Russell Springs, KY, at the time of her death in Somerset. She was the daughter of the late Mary Helen Sullivan McElroy, & Dolos McElroy. Her husband, Michael Marcum survives. She leaves one direct living descendant, a son, Joseph Marcum, Columbia, KY.

Linda (McElroy) Marcum, 55, of Russell Springs, KY, passed away, Thursday August 10, 2017 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center, Somerset, KY. Funeral services will be at 2pmCT, Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 391 E Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Bobby Dunbar officiating. Interment will be in the Russell Springs City Cemetery, Lakeway Drive, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be Saturday August 12, 2017 10am-2pmCT, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.

She was born on Tuesday September 05, 1961 in Glasgow, Barren County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Mary Helen Sullivan McElroy, & Dolos McElroy. She died Thursday, August 10, 2017, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 55 years, 11 months, and six days.

She is survived by:
  • Husband: Michael Marcum, Russell Springs, KY

  • One son: Joseph Marcum, Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Sherry Keeney, Somerset, KY

  • One brother: Dean McElroy, Russell Springs, KY

  • Friend: Natalie Sneed, Columbia, KY
She was a member of Beckham Ridge Separate Baptist Church.
