Remembering high school classmate Danny Joe Perkins

2017-08-03 - Edmonton, KY - Photo from the 1966 Metcalfe County Hornets Nest High School Yearbook.

Seems like just yesterday Danny Joe Perkins and the rest of our 1966 Metcalfe County High School senior class wished each other good luck and went out into the world to seek our fortunes. Little did we know how quickly the years would fly by. He passed away just about a month after turning 69, Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at his home in Summer Shade. Danny Joe will be remembered as a truly good person, inside and out.

- Linda Marcum Waggener, classmate
