Barbara Pauline Compton Capps, age 67 of Glasgow, KY, formerly of Edmonton, KY, passed away on Tuesday July 26, 2017 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 1pmCT, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, , with visitation beginning at 12pmNoonCT. Burial will be private in the Clack Cemetery.


She was the daughter of the late Charlie Rhinehart and Ella Francis Bragg Rhinehart. She was born May 10, 1950. She died in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, on July 26, 2017 at the age of 67 years, two months, and sixteen days.

Barbara is survived by:
  • Her five sons: James (Sharon) Ennis of Edmonton, KY; Scotty Ennis of Columbia, KY; and Eddie Compton, Charles Compton, Stephen Compton, all of Greensburg, KY

  • Two daughters: Tracy (Bill) Glass and Lenita Polson of Edmonton, KY

  • Three brothers: Bobby, Kenny, and Ronnie Rhinehart

  • Two sisters: Martha Benjamin of Somerset, KY; and Janice McInteer of Edmonton, KY

  • Twelve grandchildren: Trittany (Shawn) Ballard, Tyler Syra, Lucas Syra, Sharla Hunt, Michael Craine, Brittany Hayes, Beverly Ennis, Kayla Ennis, Jessica Ennis, Joshua and Amber Ennis.

  • Five great grandchildren
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Tina Russell, a grandson Joshua Michael Syra and a granddaughter Brooklyn Ennis.
