Great produce coming on in Adair County for FM2

Great produce is coming out of the fields and gardens of Adair County and making its way to the Farmers Market on the Square - FM2. This photo was taken at the Big Black Dog booths - Donna Jones' line has grown to three stalls, strung together. This photo was taken a week ago, Sat 15 Jul 2017, but the list today at FM2 has most all of the items in the photo and more: New crop of Honey Select and Serendipity Corn. Tomatoes in a rainbow of colors and sizes including heritage tomatoes like Cherokee Purple, Green Zebra, Black Cherry and Ponderosa Pink. Green, Yellow and Purple Peppers. Sweet Blackberries. Cucumbers for slicing and pickling. Green beans, several varieties. Yellow squash, zucchini and Eggplant. Onions and peppers. Local honey. Beef, chicken and farm fresh eggs. Fresh baked breads and muffins. - LW
