A wonderful gift, keeping both physical and mental health By Linda Waggener Visited in passing with friends Dennis Reeves and Doug Sapp at the Columbia Post Office this morning, July 20, 2017, sharing reports of two men in recent news who are celebrating an upcoming 97th birthday, Mr. Joe Spires, and a 100th birthday celebration coming up this Sunday for Mr. Rollin Pyles. Both are fully able to get around on their own and both have sharp minds and storehouses of memories. Doug Sapp said something both Dennis Reeves and I agreed wholeheartedly with: it's wonderful when you can reach those ages and have been able to keep both your physical and mental health. That's quite a gift! - LW This story was posted on 2017-07-20 09:58:55
