The Farmers Market on the Square's Wednesday Market on the corner of Campbellsville and Merchant Streets, Columbia, KY is a quick stop to reload your pantry with some of the summers harvest. Here's a few of the items you might want to add to your shopping list for this week:
Last minute Farmer's Market Update at 1:03pmCT. There are green beans galore today: half runners, Roma, and brown stick beans. Tinny sun sugar tomatoes are so sweet. Tomatoes in a rainbow of colors and sizes including heritage tomatoes like Cherokee Purple. Sweet Blackberries. Cucumbers for slicing and pickling. Green beans, several varieties. Yellow squash and zucchini. Onions and peppers. Local honey. Beef, chicken and farm fresh eggs. Fresh baked breads and muffins.

Whose bling is this: Scene seen at Sat FM 2

This Persia-inspired art was seen at the Farmers Market on the Square, Saturday, July 8, 2017. To self test your Adair Countiedness, give yourself one guess only, and if you don't immediately know who it belongs to, you've lost it if native born, or, if a born again Adair Countian, run, don't walk to the Adair County Assimilation Academy and get recycled. FM2 - Wonderful heirloom tomatoes are plentiful

2017-07-12 - Farmers Market on the Square, Campbellsville & Merchant Streets, Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com(c).
Tomatoes, above, were plentiful at FM2 on Saturday, July 8, 2017, when they were just coming on - today's selection should be even bigger. These are so wonderful with a thick cut center slice salted and slathered with Miracle Whip, between two slices of light bread - its only equal, possibly are Wayne Armitage's Ribeye Steak Sandwiches, served on Saturdays. The Farmers Market on the Square is open 1pm-6pmCT, Wednesdays, open today, Wednesday July 12, 2017. - EW
