Taylor County Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 27 June 2017

Indictments brought against 17 individuals from Campbellsville, Columbia, and Bradfordsville, KY, on charges including assault, burglary, promoting contraband, sexual abuse, theft, shoplifting, and possession.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Taylor County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 27 June 2017:

  • Dustin T. Stapleton (09/25/1983), Norman Grant Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00105. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Assault, 2nd degree. Bond set at $2,500 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no violations fo the law.

  • Tearah Kessler (07/22/1991), Old Lebanon Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00106. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no contact with WalMart, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • James L. Whitehead (09/17/1979), Coakley St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00107. Charged with 5 counts. Counts 1-4 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 5 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $2,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Sara M. Teel (11/26/1989), Sullivan School Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00108. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 2nd degree. Bond set at $500 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Jeffrey D. Karr (09/15/1954), Beechwood Dr., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00109. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of firearm by a convicted felon. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Same bond as 17-CR-00110.

  • Jeffrey Karr (09/15/1954), N. Columbia Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00110. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Criminal abuse, 1st degree (victim under 12). Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $15,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no firearms.

  • Joshua A. Grisso (06/16/1982), Liberty Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00111. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (meth). Count 2 - Promoting contraband, 1st degree. Count 3 - Public intoxication controlled substance (excludes alcohol). Count 4 - Persistent felony offender, 2nd degree. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Ronnie E. Garrett (11/27/1964), Merrimac Rd., Bradfordsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00112. Chraged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Theft of identity of another w/o consent. Count 2 - TBUT or disposition shoplifting under $500. Bond set at $1,500 full cash, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Miles J. Coffey (02/23/1993), Bridgewater Rd, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00113. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 2 - Operating on suspended/revoked operators license. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender, 2nd degree. Bond set at $500 full cash, no contact with complaining witness/victim, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.

  • Chaz Shofner (12/07/1995), Anna Ct., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00114. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition-firearm. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Alexa Gutierrez (02/17/1997), Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00115. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Theft by unlawful taking/disposition - shoplifting. Count 3 - Operating on suspended/revoked operators license. Bond set at $5,000 unsecured, comply with drug court requirements.

  • Joseph R. Roberts (09/06/1974), Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00116. Charged with Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degre, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Assault, 3rd degree, police/probation officer. Count 3 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 4 - Fleeing or evading police, 2nd degree on foot. Count 5 - Resisting arrest. Count 6 - Failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance, 1st. Count 7 - No/expired Kentucky registration receipt. Count 8 - No/expired registration plates. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no use of drugs/alcohol, no violations of the law.

  • Jonathan Baumgardner (04/30/1987), Logan St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00117. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Criminal abuse, 1st degree. Count 2 - Assault, 4th degree (child abuse). Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness.

  • Kathleen A. Hughes (12/22/1980), Shelby St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00118. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 2 - TBUT or disposition, shoplifting under $500. Bond set at $2,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Ashley Allen (03/08/1980), Milder Creek Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00119. Charged with 15 counts. Counts 1-14 - Criminal possession of forged instrument, 2nd degree. Count 15 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Bond set at $1,500 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Randall B. Campbell (01/04/1982), Saloma Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00120. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking over $500 or more but under $10,000. Bond set at $1,500 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Jeffrey M. Routon (07/12/1966), Joe Kerr Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00121. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Criminal possession of a forged prescription, 1st offense. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Falisha A. Coulter (10/14/1985), Handley Ave., Campellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00122. Charged with 7 counts. Count 1 - Criminal abuse, 2st degree (victim under 12). Counts 2-7 - Endangering the welfare of a minor. Bond set at $15,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no contact with complaining witness.
