Aviation history questions from the news of the day

Can you answer this?

By Ed Waggener

We learned from the Bardstown Kentucky Standard and the Kentucky Press Association that Nelson County is remembering its first female pilot, who died this past week? If raises the question: Who was the first female in Adair County? In Casey? In Cumberland? In Green? In Metcalfe? In Russell County? In Taylor?

And, the Question? Which of the above counties have two successor local School District Superintendents, one a man the other a woman, who are licensed pilots? The answer to that one might be one for the 'World Record Book of Guinesses' - The late, great Mayor Coy Downey's book of superlatives.
